My iPod had endured much abuse but finally protested after I threw it in the washing machine while it was in my shorts pocket. In my defence, it was on the gentle cycle. I went for about three months in mourning over the silver warrior, after realising that all was not lost- well it was: a good 200 dollars of my parents’ money spent on my birthday present (I feel so guilty..).
I decided that I needed a new iPod (one of those newfangled yellow Nanos that records shit) and so I needed to start creating a music library. I all, like, went onto my computer and everything was wiped. Every fucking thing. About 1000 +songs, videos, lyrics, podcasts, countdowns, hottest 100s 
.. This was the end. Or the end of the beginning- no, wait, the beginning of the end..is the beginning is the end.
It started shit.
I wrote down about 10 bands that I thought of from the top of my head: Drapht, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, MGMT, David Bowie plus some of those one-off songs that I’d just heard or hadn’t heard in ages like Sweet Disposition (Temper Trap, from like just then) and Spaceman (Babylon Zoo, from the 90s). I went to last.fm, limewire, facebook, youtube, my old album collection, flicked through the main preset radio stations about fifty million times..
and I came up with about 1001 songs that were the greatest! TRUST that next week there will be more sudden obsessions. Pretty much this is just a blog to convey to you my deepest, darkest emotions through music- or alternatively to open your eyes to new music or remind you of the songs you loved, hated and danced like a dickhead to.
